Top class food, service and ambiance.
North is not cheap, but you get your money's worth. Three of us came here for a treat (and it is a special occasion restaurant unless you're really loaded) and had a magnificent night. Cocktails (around £10 a pop) in the swanky lounge, then a three course slap-up feast in the lovely dining room, with its open plan kitchen. (three x mussels, two roast lamb with shepard's pie, one sea bass, all with beautifully cooked veg) and then some limoncello concoction for pudding. Everything fabulous and service spot on. Excellent all round

Lovely Sunday lunch!
Went here for Sunday lunch last week whilst on a short break in Sheringham. We all had delicious meals with perfect service in very tasteful surroundings. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely be back when we're next in Norfolk!

A wonderful Sunday lunch at the lovely restaurant in Burlington Berties Hotel, Sheringham
Wow ! What a fantastic restaurant - excellent set up, lovely atmosphere, great service (friendly and efficient) and a wonderful Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price ! Clearly a popular place and we could see why. My wife and I started with a lovely cocktail each while reviewing the menu. Not too extensive but still a good choice. We opted for the soup (tomato/red pepper) and chicken liver/brandy parfait followed by Roast beef and Roast Pork and then Lemon Drizzle and Eton Mess. The roasts both came with yorkshire pudding, some roast potatoes/mashed potato plus a selection of mixed vegetables. Joanna and Sally and the team can be proud of their hard work. No. 1 Sheringham
As a Leicester lad we were fortunate to have the original Norths just a 15 minute Uber ride from home. That was until Sally & Joanna decided to purchase Burlington Bertie’s. So now a 236 mile round trip and usually a couple of nights stay. But worth every single mile even with Storm Babit against us this time around. Our meal this time felt better than ever if that’s possible no doubt with the fresh Norfolk produce adding to the menu. Weybourne crab cake starters were stunning and my fillet & Norfolk lobster surf and turf was just amazing. Looking forward to our 4th trip of the year in December. Don’t be put off by the 5 minute walk from the High Street or thinking this is only a B&B if you want to be wowed with the best meal in Sheringham get yourselves to North @ Burlington. Made even better now with the gorgeous wine & cocktail bar - what better place to enjoy a North 42 gin than in front of the log burner. Excellent Sunday lunch
Lovely meal as always. Everything is cooked to perfection - roast pork and crackling for one of us, a lovely mix of vegetables and a melt in the mouth piece of roast hake. Great wine and cocktail list and very nice service and atmosphere. One of our favourite restaurants.

Best place to eat in Sheringham
What a lovely place to eat if you like fish. You can get lamb and beef too. Unfortunately we could not get there early enough to sample the gin bar. But we did have the nice gin as an aperitif. Great banter with the staff, the introduction to the menu was nice. Instantly they advised some shortages which avoided disappointment. All the food was special. I had lobster with thermidor sauce, excellent. Great cheese board. Others has the crab cakes started and they raved about them. Sea bass was good too. A limited but excellent wine list, with plenty by the glass. We spent just under £70 a head which was good value for the exceptional quality food and service. Make sure you phone to get a table.
